Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

When she was in the middle of high school, Sasha came out as transgender. Those were difficult years however, Sasha was confident that with the help of his family and the music she could take on anything. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters and were just recently forming an official music duo. In the past they've performed at many local venues such as open mics. The Voice coach did not talk about Sasha's story, however Jim and Sasha spoke about their lives through an introduction video. Jim and Sasha discussed the music they listen to as well as how Sasha started playing guitar when he reached the age of just six years old. Sasha was able to master the form of music more quickly due to his father being a teacher. Sasha was born a female and struggled to find his own identity while he was an infant. In an Instagram posting, he opened up recently about the struggles he's had. Jim was overwhelmed with emotion as he outlined his reasons for not being able to help during these difficult times. Sasha Allen (The Voice contestant) was a girl at the time she was born. Sasha Allen will be 19 years old in 2021. Sasha Allen made the transition to masculinity just entering his first year of high school. Sasha stated on Instagram, "I am the third transgender person to be featured on the show and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to represent transgender individuals in such a broad platform."
